- Obtain confidential feedback on facilitation skills through a 360 feedback process (prior to the training event)
- Create an individual development plan utilizing the 360 feedback report and set goals for developmental opportunity areas.
- Share developmental goals and action plan with other participants and manager/coach
- Identify peers who have strengths in the areas selected for the developmental plan
- Contract with other participants for coaching, observervation, support, and critique as work on developmental goals begins.
- Identify and practice facilitation task and maintenance activities
- Understand and practice key communication techniques
- Demonstrate key questioning techniques
- Analyze and use group problem solving processes and techniques
- Learn methods for meeting evaluation and develop an action plan for implementing these techniques
- Practice key conflict resolution techniques
- Deliver and receive a role expectation statement
- Learn effective flip charting techniques
